President Biden has recently issued studies and research regarding he US Supreme Court. The biggest issue being looked into is the expansion of the Supreme Court from 9 members to 13. Democrats call this resolving the political manipulation of Republicans, while Republicans are labeling these studies as court packing.

Since the appointment of Justice Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, the conservative majority grew to 6 votes. With such a majority, many feared that more liberal laws and bills could be struck down as unconstitutional or previous cases such as Roe v. Wade could be repealed or edited.

Democrats, who now enjoy a healthy majority in both chambers of Congress and the White House, have the ability to expand the court if they manage to gather enough votes. However, these studies and the feasibility of expanding the court seem unlikely. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that she had no intentions of bringing such a notion to the House floor, but that the Court should be studied.
