On November 29th 2017 Marvel fans rejoiced for the Marvel’s latest trailer for the film Avengers: Infinity War. Infinity War has been long awaited for Avengers fans since the war appeared in the comics years prior. So why are the fans and others alike so excited?
One reason is that Infinity War will showcase many if not ALL Marvel cinematic characters (all characters shown thus far in Marvel movies) in the film. This is simply a fans dream to see Hulk be fighting along Wolverine and The Guardians of The Galaxy. A 9th grader from High School West who is a long time fan of the Marvel movies is more than ready for Infinity War. “After seeing just about all the movies Marvel has to offer, not one of them has all of the characters on screen. Finally seeing them all together and Marvel finally doing this story arc after years of waiting, I can say that I am excited.” And if you aren’t a fan and don’t know any of the characters, I would recommend watching some, if not all, of the movies labeled under Cinematic Universe here.
Another reason people are excited for Infinity War is…. the Part two of Infinity War. This is because the storyline is most likely to end on a cliffhanger due to the confirmation that Infinity War Part two will be in theaters May 3rd 2019. This will wrap up the Infinity War story since there won’t be a third part.
Along with the Infinity War story wrapping up with Part Two, fans are also excited for what Marvel is calling Phase Four. Phase Four is the next series of movies in Marvel’s Cinematic Universe. Although we don’t know all of these movies, we do know we will be getting Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3 and Spider-man 2 in July of 2019 and Spider-man 3 which has not been given a release date/window. Of course fans and people who are unfamiliar with the Cinematic Universe will be looking forward to Phase Four because of these three movies alone. Spider-man Homecoming and both Guardians of The Galaxy movies having great review scores and great fan reception will boost the box office sales and overall enjoyment.
Even if you haven’t seen any of the movies yet I would still recommend going to the movie when it hits theaters May 4th, 2018. With all of the positive reception over the years, Marvel will still show that they can make a great movie. The recent release of Thor: Ragnarok certainly proves this. Thor: Ragnarok has received critical acclaim from casual theater goers and fans alike, pulling in top review scores all over the internet.
Avengers: Infinity War has been hyping up fans for years and now must prove its worth. Marvel will probably live up to the expectation once again and release yet another masterpiece.
