Hundreds of fans filled the gyms bleachers as the Colts took on Hills East in a non-league matchup, Wests’ first game of the season. The game started our close, as the score was 10-9 after the first quarter. A run late in the second quarter led by a thunderous dunk by Richard Altenord and capped off by a deep 3 from Jon Faraci at the buzzer had the Colts leading 31-22 at the half. West picked up right after they left off in the 3rd quarter, and took a 46-38 lead into the 4th. After taking a double digit lead in the fourth, East stormed back to bring the game to within 1. Kian Dalyrimple hit 3 clutch free throws in order to seal the victory, and the Colts came out with a 60-54 win. The leading scorers were Richard Altenord with 12 points, Justin Leonard with 11, and Kian Dalyrimple with 10 points.
