Nearing it’s one-year anniversary, Frozen was one of the most iconic films of 2013. According to Box Office Mojo, Frozen made an astounding 243,390 dollars in its opening weekend.

It spread like wildfire, ironically, since the movie is based on a queen turning her entire realm into an ice kingdom.

Many began creating content promoting Frozen, such as song covers, parodies, and the well-known lip syncing in car trips. Costumes, keychains, and children’s toys relating to Frozen began to burden the shelves of stores.

The success of Frozen, to the surprise of many, wasn’t a one hit wonder. Many are still talking about Frozen and, of course, singing the catchy song, “Let it Go.”

One of the newest additions is, Frozen On Ice. The setting of an ice skating rink fits the atmosphere of the movie perfectly. It’s a popular family event and draws in everyone with it’s chilling story line that goes against conventions.

Even more exciting is the rumor that Frozen is planned to hit the Broadway stage. Disney has confirmed plans, and now we are left to wonder who will be casted in the frosty phenomenon.

Frozen is definitely still a hot topic and it appears that it won’t be disappearing anytime soon. The children’s film has become a Disney Classic. So will we ever let it go? I doubt it, Frozen will forever be cool.
