On Friday, the Girls Varsity Soccer Team played Newfield on the Colts’ turf field. The girls were decorated in all pink to fully embrace their “Kicks for Cancer” game. Inspired and motivated by a great cause, the girls were able to start off strong. The first goal of the first half were scored by junior, Gabi Costa, soon followed by a goal from sophomore Dana Winthrop. Starting the second half off with a two goal lead, the Colts stepped onto the field with a never-ending fiery spirit. Having scored three more goals in the second half thanks to juniors Megan Iris and Gabi Costa, and sophomore Anabella Manetta, the Colts can truly say they left everything on the field that day. With a final score of 5-0, the girls stepped off of the field proud in their pink uniforms and satisfied with a great win.
