“Dimension: Answer” Review

ENHYPEN has just come back with another album, Dimension: Answer. It includes 2 new songs and songs from their previous album, Dimension: Dilemma. The group was formed through I-LAND, a survival show in 2020. They made their debut with “Given-Taken” in November 2020. The seven members are Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon, and Ni-ki. Jungwon is the leader.

The album includes an intro, interlude, and outro, narrated in English by Jake. The instrumentals are beautiful. Each of the remaining tracks incorporates both English and Korean, proving that you don’t need to understand it to enjoy it! Music is universal. The songs also switch between genres, the most common being pop and rock.

The title track, “Blessed-Cursed”, is a great mix of hip hop and rock. It could’ve been longer with the 2 minutes and 51 seconds going by quickly. “Attention, please!” is another rock piece, talking about being ignored. It was memorable, and the vocals were soothing. Others like “Tamed-Dashed” and “Go Big or Go Home” are perfect for summer. “Polaroid Love ” recently became very popular, with @reeeiner‘s TikTok dance going viral. “Just A Little Bit” was more average in comparison. “Upper Side Dreamin” talks about dreams finally coming true in summer. It also talks about wondering what is real and what isn’t. It would probably be my favorite because the lyrics are catchy, and I like the choreography. “Blockbuster” featuring Yeonjun was amazing as well. The lyrics were so meaningful, encouraging the listener to go for their dreams. The overall message was that there are no limits, and to do as you like.

The album mostly had rock and hip hop songs, and I enjoyed all of them. The album was great, and I’d give it a 10/10. I’d highly recommend it! I can’t wait to see what else ENHYPEN will bring in the future!
