Pizza and Polio: Interact Club’s Community Event
Hills West’s Interact Club is helping the community one slice of pizza at a time, and you can too!
April is Polio Awareness Month and the Interact Club, a club dedicated to helping the community through fundraisers and events, is serving the cause through a centripetal force: food.
On April 10th, the club will be hosting a CPK event at Walt Whitman Mall. Stop by California Pizza Kitchen anytime that day and present your waiter with this flyer or mention the Interact Club. The Interact Club will get 20% of the profit made that day, and the money will go directly to eradicating polio.
Only one dollar is the cost for one polio vaccine. As the students involved in the club expressed, “would you rather buy a slice of pizza or save a life? Why not do both!”
