Boys Varsity Lacrosse Ends the Season on a Strong Note

In an emotional final game for the team, the Colts lacrosse team completely outplayed the Longwood Lions. The four seniors on the team- team manager Lexi Forte, attackman Ray Jaghab, middie Pat Leone, and goalie Erik Mikelinich- played their final lacrosse game for Hills West. Every player was given an opportunity to participate. Senior Ray Jaghab scored his first career goal, while junior Alex Bass scored his first goal of the season. Cameron Mule added 4 goals and 1 assist, with Riley Forte and Ryan Ozvath each adding 3 goals of their own. The team looked great this season, finishing with a record of 11 and 5. Ryan Ozvath led the team in goals scored for the season with 52 goals. Cameron Mule, playing a more supportive role, led the team in assists and points with 30 assists and 61 points. Pat Leone maintained his aggressiveness, leading the team in faceoffs won, while Erik Mikelinich was first in saves with 164 saves. The season was great for the lacrosse team, and in this final game they were able to prevail with dominance.
