Hills West is full of many exceptional athletes that are capable of playing many different sports, but very rarely do athletes play 2 sports in the same sports season. Well, that is what junior Ryan Levy did.

Not only was Levy on the Varsity Boys Soccer team, but he was the captain and heart of that team. Levy had a great junior season where he had 15 goals and 14 assists, putting him in the top 10 for both categories. Levy was given the honors of League 7 MVP following his outstanding season. As for the soccer field, Levy will have one more ride in the program as he looks to have a stellar senior campaign.

Levy used that strong leg to transfer his talents onto the football field as he was the kicker and punter for the Varsity Football team. Levy was third in Suffolk County for total points as a kicker, kicking 39 PATs and 1 FG. Despite the challenge of Levy going” to soccer from 2:30 to 4 then every Tuesday and Thursday after soccer practice I went to kick for the football team”, Ryan made the most of his opportunity. Levy said “I loved being involved with both sports because of the competitive aspect”.
