Senior Events
As we conclude the 2019-2020 school year, the seniors are ready to embark on their newest journeys beyond High School West. To prepare for this final goodbye, our school has special events prepared in honor of the graduating class. First, the school held senior awards which recognizes some of the top, hardworking students here at Hills West. This ceremony was held on May 23rd at 7:00 p.m.
In order to get an award, a teacher or administrator that worked with the student throughout the year must recommend a student for this huge honor. Congratulations to all of the seniors that won an award at the Senior Award Ceremony! On May 29th, another mini award ceremony took place during the Music Spring Concert held at Hills West. During the concert, the seniors were recognized for their amazing efforts in music and sticking with their instrument all throughout middle and high school.
In addition to these ceremonies, Hills West is hosting the Senior Luncheon on June 24th at 9:00 a.m. The Senior Luncheon will take place after the conclusion of the graduation rehearsal. At this luncheon, the school will provide food for the seniors and it will be
Lastly, the High School West graduation for the senior class will be held at 6:00 p.m. The graduation will be in the auditorium of Half Hollow Hills High School East. This event will take place on June 26th which is the last official day of school for our district. The Senior Prom is the last school run event that the graduating class will all be together before they part their separate ways. The Senior class has a lot to look forward to in the next couple of weeks thanks to the outstanding preparation from our administrators!

Another congratulations to all the seniors in chorus, orchestra, and band! In addition to these ceremonies, Hills West is hosting the Senior Luncheon on June 24th at 9:00 a.m. The Senior Luncheon will take place after the conclusion of the graduation rehearsal. At this luncheon, the school will provide food for the seniors and it will be fun way for them to spend time together. Following this, the Senior Prom will take place on June 25th from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The Senior Prom will be an amazing night filled with food, dancing, and a night that they will remember for the rest of their lives! The Senior Prom will be held at Stonebridge Country Club which is located in Smithtown NY. Even though the prom won’t be held at Hills West, the code of conduct is still enforced and and students are expected to act appropriately the whole night. Lastly, the High School West graduation for the senior class will be held at 6:00 p.m. The graduation will be in the auditorium of Half Hollow Hills High School East.
