Highly esteemed Columbia University Professor, Robert G. O’Meally, paid High School West’s AP Lang students a visited on September 13, giving them an entirely incomparable experience.

Professor O’Meally held a lecture, during which he discussed the intricacy of Mark Twain’s renowned The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, followed by a question and answer session. The students were given an incredible insight into the most deeply buried undertones in this classic, exemplary piece of American literature, as Professor O’Meally enlightened them on such crucial themes of the novel as racism, jazz, the human condition, and the essential questions of life.
