TNF Preview: Red Hot Cowboys Take On Struggling Vikings

How ’bout dem boys? The Dallas Cowboys have been surging this season. This Dallas team has been lead by two rookie sensations, QB Dak Prescott and RB Ezekiel Elliot, and it also helps that they have a tremendous offensive line. Both Prescott and Elliot have been the talk of MVP and Rookie of the Year discussions. Prescott, the 4th round pick out of Mississippi State has completed 67.9% of his passes and has thrown for 18 touchdowns and 2 interceptions, resulting in an incredible 9 to 1 touchdown to interception ratio, great for anyone, especially a rookie. Elliot, the fourth overall pick out of Ohio State is the league’s leading rusher, piling on 1,199 yards and 11 touchdowns.

For the Vikes, it has been a season of extreme ups and downs. After losing their franchise QB Teddy Bridgewater for the season, Minnesota went on to trade their 2017 1st round pick for veteran QB Sam Bradford in a desperate attempt to save their season. If that wasn’t enough, shortly after the Vikings then lost all-time great running back, Adrian Peterson. Despite all of this, Minnesota jumped out to a 5-0 lead with their extremely potent defense. Unexpectedly, things went out of control for the Vikings, losing 5 of their next 6. Now, they stand at 6-5, fighting for their playoff chances. Bradford and young, emerging star receiver Stefon Diggs look to carry things for the Vikings tonight as they got the ultimate, primetime opportunity at home against the league’s best team.
