The Most Outrageous Statements Uttered By Our Presidential Nominees
How fast time flies, it was just as if yesterday it was November 8, 2008, and Barack Obama was declared president. Now its November 7, 2016, a day before Election day, where we say goodbye to Barack Obama forever, and welcome the new president of the United States of America.
Now, as we all know, election day is both an emotional yet exciting time for all, it’s a little hard to be excited for our new president because this year’s presidential debate has not been the greatest. Having two of the most unusual nominees. One of them who is Donald Trump, our republican nominee and a businessman who started off with a small loan of a million dollars, and then we have Secretary Hillary Clinton, who’s husband was once the President of the United States, she has a hard time avoiding talking about her family, and was and still is involved in the political world. Both have very different ideas, on how they will make America better. Their almost like total polar opposites, however, there is one thing stopping them from becoming two polar opposites, and that is the remarkable statements both Clinton and Trump had said in this year’s presidential debate.
Now Donald Trump is a special man. His appearance is special too, he has orange skin (however, the skin around his eyes are unbelievably white) his hair is gold. As a business man, you would expect him to make politically correct and calm statements. Although he did make some correct political statements, some of the statements that Trump said are unbelievably wrong.
One of the famous statements Trump says is “When Mexico sends its people they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people who have lots of problems which include drugs and rapists”, oh yes Donald, please tell us more about how you don’t like Mexican immigrants. That totally does not affect the way we will view you as a person. You would think, that since Trump’s is a business man who claims, he’s all about that political life, that he’d be careful of what comes out of that mouth of his. However, he never hesitates to make a racist claim, about our very amazing friends.
Another one of the statements that Trump had made was against Megyn Kelly for pressing him about the nasty comments that Trump had made about women. “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever. In my opinion, she was off base.” Once again, what a weird and unusual thing to say at a GOP presidential debate. If others were in Trump’s place, they would most likely never answer back the statement that Trump had said. Isn’t it unusual?
Lastly, one of the most famous yet outrageous Trump quote is “It has not been easy for me. It has not been easy for me. I started off in Brooklyn. My father gave me a small loan of a million dollars. I came into Manhattan, and I had to pay him back, and I had to pay him back with interest. But I came into Manhattan and I started buying properties, and I did great”. Ah yes Donald, “a small loan of a million dollars”, what a great way of connecting with the citizens of the United States and giving them hope. A million dollars according to Trump is small, to me, five dollars is a lot. The most stood out part of this whole quote was the fact that he claimed that “it was not easy for me”. What? You had a million dollars, what difficulty did you have? trying to find people to bring in your one hundred thousand dollar vase in your multi-million dollar penthouse?
Now let’s not focus, on only one of our presidential candidates. Although, Hillary is the lesser of two evils, and has very important and beneficial plans for the United States. She is not a clean, open book. She also made very cringe-worthy, never-seen-before statements!
The event that occurred in the inner circle dinner. Both De Blasio and Clinton had laughed over a racist joke. “Clinton: I just have to say thanks for the endorsement, Bill. Took you long enough. [Laughter] De Blasio: Sorry Hillary, I was running on C.P. time. [Audience gasps]”. CP is an abbreviation for colored people, and it referenced a racist stereotype that African American’s are late to everything. Talk about reassurance, what a sure fire way of not being elected president. Please, nothing makes me feel safer than knowing that we have a bit of a racist possibly-our-future president on our hands. She’s a secretary, you would think she’d be professional and rock that “equality for all” style, but no it’s almost as if she doesn’t care if people hear what she says.
Another statement is when she completely lashed out on her bodyguards. (dailywire.com) “When an agent gave her a “Good morning” during the Whitewater scandal, Clinton shrieked: “How dare you? You, people, are just destroying my husband… And where do you buy your suits? Penney’s?” Yikes! Looks like someone does not appreciate, the men and women who devote their time protecting them.
One of the last things that Hillary Clinton has uttered, was the fact that she did not believe that President Barack Obama, could become president in the 2008 presidential debate. “he couldn’t appeal to whites because they’re racist… the country wasn’t ready to elect an African-American president”. Jeez, Clinton just hit two birds with a stone, she discriminated against Blacks and Whites. Talk about commitment, she just keeps on making these remarks. Outstandingly, she didn’t make many racist comments during the GOP Presidential Debate, not as much as Trump.
What do you think about our two presidential nominees, after you’ve read about these peculiar statements from both nominees? I guess we can definitely say, that this GOP Presidential Debate, is the weirdest and scariest of all GOP Presidential Debates in the past.
