A Tale of Four Cities: Hills West’s Homecoming Theme Announced!
This morning, Hills West’s Student Government and Student Executive Council (SEC) announced this year’s homecoming theme: Famous Cities! Each grade will have their own city: Freshmen have Honolulu, Sophomores have New Orleans, Juniors have Los Angeles, and Seniors have New York City. In past years, our themes have included Types of Movies, Decades, Olympic Host Cities, and Disney World Parks.
Many students are very excited to hear about this year’s theme. Edward Bae, Senior and SEC Secretary, said about the theme:
I’m very excited for this year’s theme because it really gives a lot of room to work with. A city has so many things to offer, giving all grades a whole lot of different aspects to work with. This homecoming is going to be truly fantastic.
“[I’m] so excited for this year’s theme,” reiterated Athena Priftakis, another Hills West Senior, ” [We] killed the ‘threepeat’ last year. [We’re] ready to repeat. Let’s go Class of 2016!”
