Girls Gymnastics loses to Undefeated Commack

After coming off a loss against undefeated Ward Melville, the Girls Gymnastics team went on to face Commack in a tough matchup. The Hills team lost by a considerable margin, with the final score tallying up to 159.6 – 174.35.  Despite this with a high team score they will be able to drop a low 151 score for their counties average.  The girls put up some impressive scores on floor, as Melanie Gershman scored a 9.2 and Emily Chong scored a 9.5.  The team has come very close to breaking a 160-team score and hopes to accomplish this goal in their next meet, against Sachem.
