Fed Challenge Moves On to Round 2

Last Thursday, March 22, Hills Wests’ Fed Challenge team went to the Federal Reserve Bank in New York City to presented there project to a panel of judges. This competition is designed for high school students to display an understanding of real-world economics as well as recommend a course of action for monetary policy.

This years team was headed by Ms. Lislevatn and Mr. Kilkelly and consisted of seniors, Abigail Ritter and Malini Desai, as well as juniors, Sarah Han, Wasif Islam, and Jesse Scheinman.  Wish them luck in the next round on April 24, 2012!
