Boys Varsity Lacrosse Loses After a Strong Second Half Resurgence

In a battle of two of the best, boys varsity lacrosse fell short against Sachem North.  Sachem North came into this game with a 9-3 record continuing a six game win streak. The Colts came in with a similarly dominant 8-3 record. Sachem North went up early with a 5 goal lead at halftime. The Colts made a strong push in the second half, scoring 11 goals. However, for every goal scored against them, SachemSachem North returned with their own. The final score was 11-16 in favor of Sachem North. Cameron Mule, Riley Forte, and Ryan Ozvath each recorded 4 points in the loss. The Colts still played very well, showing strength in the second half. They look to return to their brilliance soon, behind junior Ryan Ozvath who is currently tied for 8th in goals on Long Island with 43.
