Varsity Boys Basketball Loses to Bellport in a Close Game

The Hills West Colts traveled out to Bellport High School for a rematch against their five and four conference rivals. The game went back and forth throughout, but Bellport always seemed to have the upper hand. While the Colts played with extreme tenacity, Bellport ended up edging them out with a score of 68-66. Senior Terry Harris once again led the team in scoring, with twenty three points. Junior Justin Leonard, who has continued to improve, had a tremendous game, scoring twenty points for the Colts. Despite the loss, the Colts remain in second place in the League IV Conference, and they look better with each game.
