Another Win for Colts Baseball

The boy’s varsity baseball team improved their record to 14-3 after beating Riverhead on Thursday, May 3rd, topping the league over rival Hauppauge. The game went 8 innings after being tied 2-2 in the seventh. Senior, Dylan Mouzakes pitched the full game with 9 strikeouts and 2 unearned runs. The Colts ended the game by scoring 4 runs in the eighth inning. This was highlighted by a sacrifice fly from Sean Noriega to finish off the Blue Waves in the eighth. Freshman sensation, Owen McMenamy, went 1 for 1 with a double and 2 RBIs. In the upcoming week they will be playing Hauppauge to secure their place as the league champs.
