West Rolls Over North Babylon

In what was expected to be a huge test for both the Hills West and North Babylon’s football teams, the game turned out to be a huge win for West as they destroyed North Babylon, 48-0. Senior Quarterback, Anthony Lucarelli put on a show. He threw for 342 yards on 9-11 completions, 6 passing and 1 rushing touchdowns. He connected with Junior Wide Receiver Cameron Jordan four times for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns. Junior Alexander Filacouris got involved with 195 total yards and 2 touchdowns. The crushing blow for North Babylon was Freshman Deyvon Wright’s spectacular 43 yard catch and run touchdown. Overall the offense was unstoppable, and the defense showed no signs of letting up either. AJ Leva led the D with 6 tackles and a sack, with Joseph Stone adding 4 tackles and a sack as well. This game was a big confidence boost as the Colts head into the final game of their road trip before returning home for their Homecoming Game.
