Japanese Journalist Beheaded

Islamic State recently released a video which shows Japanese journalist Kenji Goto being beheaded. They assassinated Goto to pose a threat to the people of Japan, for Japan had contributed hundreds of millions of dollars in humanitarian aid to countries fighting ISIS. Prior to the beheading of Goto, a negotiation of an exchange with al-Rishawi, a Jordanian terrorist/failed suicide bomber, was occurring, but the exchange failed to be finalized. He was specifically murdered because in October 2014, he went to Syria hoping to rescue Japanese hostage Haruna Yukawa. He failed to rescue Yukawa and was taken as a hostage by Islamic State militants. People in Japan are calling the beheading of Goto their 9/11.
