Track & Field Jumping for a Win

On Wednesday, April 25th, the Hills West Boys Track and Field team found themselves victorious in their meet against North Babylon. This wasn’t one of the easy meets and at times they found North Babylon beating them but Hills pushed on and proved that they had the will to win. Today it was the field events that kept the team ahead in the game. The boys placed 2nd and 3rd in the long jump and junior Frederic Fils-Aime won the triple jump with a jump of 42 ft. 3 and 3/4 in. The final score of the meet was 77.5-50. The boys will see if they will be able to clinch another league title when they face Copiague in a couple of weeks.
