The NFL draft wrapped up this past week, but the flurry of action from teams does not end there. Teams sign players who went undrafted, looking for anybody who can help them win. Last year, almost one third of all players who played in the NFL had been undrafted. One such player this year was Hills West and University of Maine graduate Damarr Aultman. Altman, a wide receiver, was a part of Hills West’s recent Long Island championship team. After a solid career at Maine, Aultman turned NFL heads at his Pro Day with solid metrics and skills. This culminated yesterday with Aultman signing a contract with the Miami Dolphins. As the offseason progresses and the season nears, he will be striving to make the team’s roster for Week 1.
