On Tuesday the 23rd, The Girls Varsity Soccer Team made history. The girls played their first playoff game at Kings Park, they were determined to redeem themselves from their previous 0-5 loss against Kings Park. Kings Park walked on the field thinking this game was an easy win, but little did they know the girls were ready to win. It was an intense game, but it was obvious Hills West dominated the field. Jordon Levy scored two goals for Hills West by flying past the defensive line and putting it in the corner of the net. Everyone on and off the field contributed to the 2-1 win against Kings Park. The Girls Varsity Soccer Team had never won a playoff game until this year. This win advances them to the next round against Islip at 2:00 on Thursday the 25th. The girls previously beat Islip 2-0 and are determined to get another win. Although they made history by being the first Hills West Girls Varsity Soccer Team to win a playoff game they aren’t ready to end their season yet.
