The Boys Varsity Lacrosse Team Stuns Northport in a Thrilling Game

Coming off an impressive win versus William Floyd played a very good Northport team over break. Going in as the clear underdog, the Colts knew they had to put up a big fight to win. Northport scored 2 goals early in the game, but the Colts battled back to tie the game at 3 going into half time. The team outscored Northport 5 to 2 in the second half claiming their well deserved victory. Junior, Mike McCarthy scored a game high 3 goals and added 1 assist. Pat Leone played outstanding scooping up seven ground balls and scoring the win sealing goal. With this win, Hills West moves to 4th place in Suffolk County Division I.
