The Boys Varsity Basketball Season Comes to an End

On Tuesday February 18th, the Colts lost to the second seed, Deer Park  High School. During the regular season Deer Park won against the Colts by 26 points in their first matchup and 11 in the second. Based on this, the Colts were the underdogs heading into this contest, despite continuously decreasing their margin of defeat. Deer Park started the game off at their best taking a lead of 12 by the end of the first quarter. They maintained this lead for the remainder of the game, but the Colts did start coming back in the second quarter. However, this mid-game push was futile, leaving Deer Park ahead with a final score of 78-48. While the Colts season may have ended on a sad note, they are a talented team looking to come back strong next year.
