Girls Varsity Volleyball Prevails in an Intense Match Against Deer Park

| 10/04/2013 | 0 Comments

The Girls Varsity Volleyball Team went into their match against Deer Park, ready to bounce back from their tough loss against Riverhead last Monday. The girls started off strong and with intensity, allowing them to win the first 2 games of the match. Going into the next two games were tough and exhausting, and unfortunately, Hills West lost both of them. This left Deer Park and Hills West in a tie, leaving it up to the fifth and final game of the match to determine the winner. With the help of juniors Gabby Barone and Jenn Eason, as well as senior Maya Jones, the Colts were able to stay in it until the very end. The girls were able to win the fifth game with a score of 25-16, which then enabled them to win the match 3-2. They now move forward looking better than ever and hope to continue with their incredible season.
