West Islip Defeats Girls Varsity Soccer

| 10/06/2013 | 0 Comments

The Girls Varsity Soccer Team played a tough game against West Islip on Friday. The girls had previously lost to West Islip earlier in the season, in a close game of 2-1. They were eager to go up against West Islip for a second chance at defeating them. The Colts struggled to find their momentum for much of the game. However, they found themselves back in it when sophomore Katina Cokinos scored their first goal of the game in the first half. Unfortunately the Colts were not able to find other opportunities to somehow get the ball in the net. In the end the girls lost with a score of 5-1. Hopefully the girls can bounce back from this loss better than ever in their next game against North Babylon.
