Hills West Boys Golf Team Loses to Huntington

In a thrilling match between the two league leaders, the Boys Varsity Golf Team lost an extremely close match by three strokes to the undefeated Huntington team. The top performers were Sam Gersten,with a 42, and Jackson Weisbrot, with a 43. Everyone played very well, with the team’s average being about 4 points lower than normal. Although they lost this match, they played better than they ever have, and are able to move forward this season with an amazing record of seven wins and only one loss. Fortunately, they will have another chance to defeat Huntington later this season.
