Boys Track finish Strong Against Riverhead

The boys track team matched up against Riverhead in the first dual meet of the season.
The team was down by 2 points heading into the relays. In order to win they needed to win 2 of the 3 relays.
The 4X400 of Blackman, Opata Mate-Kole, Johnson and Fils-Aime were able to clinch the victory even after dropping the baton.
Also Junior Jarried Redwood makes his return to the track after injury. His debut includes a second place finish in the 100m and third place finish in the 200m.
Meet Highlights:
Josh Connor: 1st place in 800m (2:07)
Bryce Johnson: 1st place in 400m (53.5)
Neneyo Mate-Kole: 1st place in high jump (5’10”)
