Running Straight to Another Title

On Wednesday, May 2nd, the boys of Hills West Track defeated yet another school. This week they won 81-60 against Hauppauge. Junior Frederic Fils-Aime and senior Doug Motley placed 2nd and 3rd in the long jump. Sophomore Josh Connor ran a 61.6 in the 400 meter hurdles. While being the lone 2 mile runner for Hills West, sophomore Arthur Bosua was able to beat 5 Hauppauge runners in 11 minutes. Another sophomore doing great things for the team was Nigel Hibbert, who shotput 131 feet yesterday, helping West place first in the event. With a currently undefeated season, next week will put the boys to the test to see if they can get another division title.
