A Tough Start for Softball

| 04/07/2015 | 0 Comments

The softball season started late against East Islip March 30th due to a stretch of wild weather last week. The girls did not have the start to the season that they hoped for, losing to East Islip 11-3. Despite this hard start the girls showed a lot of potential and promise for the rest of the season. Sarah Aurichio hit a two-run home run, Lexi Kleet pitched well, and Alyse McAlpine made an amazing diving play. Renee Pino hit a double and Julia Toscano and Nicole Craber both hit a single each. With these flashes of talent, the girls showed that they can still compete this year.
