After a 3-1 win at Newfield last week, the girls soccer team had their last game of the season today against Smithtown West.  The girls lost a close game by a score of 2-1.  The Colts’ lone goal was scored by Olivia Garrison.  Smithtown West is currently at the top of the league, so this was a hard game for the girls.  The Colts team ends with a record of 9-5 and are fourth in the division, right behind their rivals, West Islip.  This was the senior game for the team, and all of the seniors agreed that the season had gone by too fast.  After this loss the girls will continue to practice, striving to make their mark in the playoffs.
