It was a matchup between two of League III’s top teams on Wednesday as Hills West (7-2-1) took on North Babylon (9-0-1). In their first matchup, the teams played to a 1-1 tie in overtime, so it was sure to be a tough game for both sides. After falling to a 2-0 deficit, the Colts rallied in the second half to make it 2-1 after a goal by senior Richie Mastrangelo. It was a very physical second half, but the Colts fell short after conceding a third goal, losing 3-1. Hills West will look to begin another winning streak as they host Riverhead tomorrow.
