In a meet against West Babylon on Wednesday April 18th, the boys track team won by a landslide. With the Colts placing first in almost every event, they were able to walk away with their heads held high and a score of 100 to 39. With a score this grand one might think that the meet must have been easy. But while it was easy to defeat West Babylon, the boys had to work hard to fight the cold and rain and still perform to the best of their abilities. In this meet, junior Tommy Battistelli tied the school record in pole vaulting at 12 feet! As the season progresses the boys are working to shed seconds and hopefully keep the school records in tact or even break them. The boys will compete against North Babylon on Wednesday, April 25th.
